After a long journey of over 750km through mountainous terrain, taking nearly 20 hours by car, we arrived at Ca La Pa school in Chung Chai, Muong Nha, the westernmost point of the country, more than 200km from Dien Bien city. This is home to 10 ethnic minority groups, and despite receiving attention from the government and local authorities, their lives and infrastructure remain very difficult and lacking, especially in education.
