KEY PROJECTS OF HAI PHONG CITY IN 2022

In 2022, the city will have 5 projects scheduled for completion, 21 projects scheduled for commencement, and 3 projects carried over from 2021. These are major, key projects of significant importance to the city's development, and therefore deserve attention and favorable conditions.

According to the List of Key Projects and Works for 2022 attached to Resolution No. 51 dated December 10th of the Hai Phong City People's Council, next year the city will have 5 projects expected to be inaugurated, 21 works expected to be started, and 3 projects carried over from 2021.

These are major projects of significant importance to the city's development, so they deserve attention and all necessary support.

I. Five projects scheduled for completion in 2022 will continue to receive focused resources for implementation, including:

• Construct the Rào Bridge and upgrade the Lạch Tray road;

• Dong Khe 2 road (phase 1), section from the intersection of Nguyen Binh Khiem and Van Cao streets to Le Loi street;

• Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, section from Da Bac Bridge to Kien Bridge;

• Project to renovate and upgrade Road 359 in Thuy Nguyen District (section from Binh Bridge to Trung Ha Commune and section from Thuy Trieu Commune to Ben Rung Industrial Park)

• Investing in and constructing apartment buildings HH1 and HH2 in Dong Quoc Binh ward, Ngo Quyen district.

II. Among the projects scheduled to commence in 2022, there are many large-scale projects that will significantly contribute to the city's breakthrough development.

• The investment and construction project for Ring Road 2, specifically the Tan Vu-Hung Dao-Bui Vien section, has a total investment of 7,439 billion VND;

• Nguyen Trai Bridge Project: 5.375 billion VND;

• The project to build berths 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Hai Phong International Gateway Port costs 13.371 billion VND,...

• Projects such as the Ben Rung Bridge (investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND);

• Lai Xuan Bridge and renovation and expansion of provincial road 352 (1,334 billion VND)...

III. In addition, some urban renovation projects include:

• Construction of Van My apartment complex (over 2.7 trillion VND);

• Upgrading the Tam Bac River, phase 2, the section from Lac Long Bridge to Hoang Van Thu Bridge (over 572 billion VND)...

IV. In particular, many industrial park development projects have also been included in the planning program, such as:

The Trang Due Industrial Park, phase 3, has a total investment of 6,300 billion VND.

• Tien Thanh Industrial Park (Tien Lang district) has an investment of nearly 4,600 billion VND.

• A complex project comprising a shopping mall, entertainment center, 5-star hotel, and office space for rent to carry out urban renovation in the Iron Market area, with a capital investment of over 6,000 billion VND;

• The project to build a multi-functional complex (residential land combined with commercial and service facilities) at No. 4, Tran Phu Street is worth over 3,000 billion VND.

V. Some projects of large enterprises are also classified as key infrastructure projects such as

The Dragon Hill International Tourist Area project is invested by Van Huong Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company with a total capital of over 17,000 billion VND.

The VinWonder Vu Yen theme park project by Vingroup Group is worth over 2,000 billion VND.

• The Sun Group's project to build a cargo port, ferry terminal, passenger terminal, factory producing tourism products, and tourism logistics service area in Cat Ba is worth over 4,700 billion VND.
